Join us for the Friends of Parks Forum!
We're thrilled to announce the return of the Friends of Parks Forum in 2024!
This will be our first in-person forum since 2018, and we can't wait to gather once again in Belair National Park, the birthplace of National Parks in South Australia. Co-hosted by the Friends of Belair National Park and the Friends of Old Government House, this will be our 33rd Forum.
Who Should Attend?
This forum is for Friends of Parks volunteers and National Parks and Wildlife Service staff. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and celebrate our collective achievements.
Event Details:
Location: Belair National Park and Club Marion Function Centre
Dates: 23 - 25 August 2024
Activities: Expert speakers, breakout sessions, panel discussions, tours, and plenty of socialising over a cuppa.
Catering: Fully catered event with dinners on Friday and Saturday nights.
2024 Theme: Strong Roots and New Branches
Inspired by Paul Kelly’s song “From Little Things Big Things Grow,” our theme celebrates the strong foundations of the past 40+ years and looks forward to future growth. We’ll explore how Friends of Parks groups can continue to thrive and expand.
