4th Creek Project habitat restoration
About this event
Come along to help restore our grassy woodlands slope and our red gum riparian zone. This time we will work along the creekline removing weeds while the water is low. We will look out for spider plant and Rice Millet along the banks.
Meet at the car park near the stone gazebo, just past the point where the walking track crosses the creek at 9:30am & wear sturdy shoes for going off track. Bring your hat, sunscreen and morning tea. We also recommend cotton long sleeves and trousers to protect your legs and arms from scratches.
If the fire warning rating is severe or above the event will be automatically cancelled. Extreme heat, wet or windy weather may also cause the cancellation of this event on the day. Please check conditions/the website before coming.
