4th Creek Project habitat restoration
About this event
Come along to help restore our grassy woodlands slope and our red gum riparian zone. That translates to searching the area for invasive weeds and treating them. The warm months are ideal for finding the summer active weeds, including blackberry.
Meet at the Car Park near the Gazebo on Morialta Falls Road at 9:30am & wear sturdy shoes for going off track. We will work downstream from here. Bring your hat, sunscreen and morning tea. We also recommend cotton long sleeves and trousers to protect your legs and arms from scratches.
If the fire warning rating is severe or above this event will be automatically cancelled. Extreme heat, wet or windy weather may also cause the cancellation of this event on the day. Please check conditions/the website before coming.
