Help us celebrate the outstanding contributions made by individuals, groups and organisations involved in Landcare throughout South Australia.
Hosted by Gardening Australia’s Sophie Thomson, this inspiring event will recognise extraordinary South Aussies across a massive TEN Landcare Award categories.
We’re celebrating those who actively engage in climate action and work to create healthier, more resilient and productive landscapes and communities.
From volunteers, Landcare groups and other environmental community groups, to farmers and landholders; from First Nations peoples to the next generation of Landcarers, the Landcare Awards program acknowledges the diverse range of individuals and organisations committed to addressing local environmental issues.

Date: Friday3May 2024
Time: 6.00 pm - 9.00 pm. Arrive from 5.30pm to check in.
Venue: Port Augusta Cultural Centre, the Barracks
To note:
- Current LASA member groups are entitled to 3 x free tickets per group (additional tickets can be purchased). We encourage you to forward this invitation onto your members.
- Dinner is included.
- A free bus from Adelaide to Port Augusta and back will be provided to ticket holders. Optional pickups in Two Wells and Snowtown is also available. More information provided during registration process.
- Discounted accommodation is available in Port Augusta for attendees. More information provided during registration process.
- As an added bonus:Join us for a special Arid Lands Botanic Garden Tour with Sophie Thomson and local experts on the morning of Saturday 4 May (more information provided during registration process).
